Rough dimensions of the area, what surface is there now, how easy it is to get machinery onto the site, and whether you have a finish in mind — plain concrete, exposed aggregate, coloured, or asphalt. Do you charge for quotes?
No. Every quote is free and comes with no obligation. Oreni comes to your site, measures the area, and gives you a written price. You decide whether to go ahead — there's no pressure and no fee.
How far ahead are you booked?
It depends on the season and the size of the job. Smaller jobs like repairs or paths can sometimes be slotted in within a week or two. Larger driveway pours and asphalt work may be booked two to four weeks out. We'll always give you an honest timeframe when you call.
What information helps you quote accurately?
Rough dimensions of the area, what's there now (old concrete, gravel, grass), how easy the access is for machinery, and whether you have a finish in mind — plain, exposed aggregate, coloured, or asphalt. Photos sent through with the form help a lot too.
Do you handle the council crossing application?
Yes. If your job involves a new or altered vehicle crossing — the section of driveway that meets the road — we handle the council application as part of the work. The process differs between Christchurch City Council, Waimakariri District Council and Selwyn District Council, but we know the forms.
