Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: July 2026
Versatile Asphalt & Concrete Ltd ("we", "our", "us") provides asphalt, concrete, demolition, paving, and landscaping services across Christchurch, Selwyn District, Rangiora, Kaiapoi, and Pegasus.
We do business on trust — these terms just set out the basics plainly so both sides know where they stand.
Quotes
Quotes are free and valid for 30 days. If your project changes, or we find something different on site once we start (like ground conditions or extra work needed), we'll talk to you before any price changes.
Payment
Payment is due on completion of the work, unless we've agreed something different with you directly. We accept bank transfer.
Cancellations
Plans change — just give us a call as early as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule. Weather (rain, frost, or unsafe conditions) may also mean we need to move your job; we'll always keep you posted.
Our Guarantee
We stand by our work. If something isn't right due to how we installed it, we'll come back and fix it — free of charge, for 12 months after completion.
This doesn't cover normal wear and tear, such as fine hairline cracking in concrete, which is a natural part of how concrete cures and is not a fault. It also doesn't cover damage caused by not following our care advice (for example, driving on new concrete too early, or not resealing when recommended).
Nothing in this guarantee affects your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986, which always apply.
Your Property
You'll let us know about anything we should be aware of on site — pipes, cables, irrigation, retaining walls, and so on — and give us reasonable access to get the job done safely.
Privacy
We handle your information in line with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 2020.
Getting in Touch
If anything about a job or a quote doesn't sit right, talk to us directly first — we'd rather sort it out with a phone call than anything formal.

Get Your Discount — Offer Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to the $200 off any new project promotion offered by Versatile Asphalt and Concrete ("we", "our", or "us") through our Get Your Discount form. By submitting the Get Your Discount form you agree to these offer terms, which apply in addition to our main Terms and Conditions.
The Offer
Get $200 off any new project. The $200 discount is applied to the quote or invoice for your new asphalt or concrete project.
Eligibility
This offer is only available to returning or referral customers. One redemption per customer unless otherwise stated.
Validity
This offer is valid for 12 months from the date of your Get Your Discount form submission. After 12 months the offer expires and can no longer be redeemed.
How to Redeem
Mention your Get Your Discount submission when requesting your quote. The $200 discount is applied to your quote or final invoice for the qualifying new project.
Conditions
The discount applies to new projects only and cannot be applied to work already quoted, in progress, or completed. It cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion. It is not redeemable for cash and has no cash value. Versatile Asphalt and Concrete reserves the right to verify eligibility and to decline or withdraw the offer where it reasonably believes it is being misused.
Changes to This Offer
We may amend or withdraw this offer at any time. These offer terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand and do not limit your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
