When you work with Versatile Asphalt & Concrete, you deal with Oreni directly. He comes out to your site, measures it himself, talks you through the options, and runs the job. There's no sales rep, no call centre, no subcontractor you've never met. What to Expect: Quote to Handover
1. Free on-site quote
Oreni comes to your property, measures the area, checks the ground conditions and access, and talks you through what's involved. You get a written quote with no obligation and no pressure.
2. Booking and scheduling
Once you accept the quote, we lock in a date. Weather can shift things in Canterbury — frost in winter, rain at any time — but we'll always keep you posted and give you as much notice as possible.
3. Site preparation
We handle excavation, base course compaction, formwork, and drainage. This is the part most people don't see, and it's the part that decides whether your driveway lasts thirty years or five.
4. Pour or lay
Concrete is poured, levelled, finished, and control-jointed. Asphalt is laid hot, levelled, and compacted. Either way, the crew on site is ours — not hired in.
5. Curing and handover
We tell you exactly when you can walk on it and when you can drive on it. The site is left clean. If anything needs touching up, it gets done before we call the job finished.
